Rugby League in Education
Schools Rugby League offers a variety of skills and experience from playing a team sport
Why schools Rugby League
Schools Rugby League offers the opportunity to learn a variety of skills whilst enjoying the experience of playing a team sport. The Rugby Football League is committed to growing our game within the secondary school’s network, whether it be through the Champion Schools competition, the School Games or through Embed the Pathway, the opportunity for players to learn and grow remains the key goal.
Teachers - OuRLearning Zone
OuRLearning Zone is the RFL’s online learning platform that you can access anytime, anywhere.
The purpose of OuRLearning Zone is to create a digital framework that will support the ongoing development of the teachers, coaches, players, match officials and volunteers involved in our game. We aim to connect all members of the Rugby Football League community, and allow you to share, connect and learn from one another.
Sign up for OuRLearning Zone and join the ‘Education Resources’ group, where teachers and educators can find both practical and theory based resources to deliver to students across KS1 to KS4 and into College and University settings. The resources will allow you to enhance the Rugby League opportunities within your establishment. The topics contain a mixture of teacher and student resources and CPD opportunities, with virtual courses to complete and downloadable content to deliver in your classrooms.
