Four matches are taking place this weekend in Round 11 of Betfred League One, here is a closer look at what will take place this weekend.
London Skolars will welcome North Wales Crusaders to the capital on Saturday afternoon.
The Skolars are the only side in League One yet to register a win yet. In nine matches, they have scored 162 points and conceded 447. However, Skolars will take confidence from their last home fixture which resulted in a 28-24 home defeat to Rochdale Hornets.
After a slow start to the season, North Wales Crusaders have bounced back with consecutive victories in their last two matches. A 42-14 away win against Midlands Hurricanes was followed up with another away win, but this time in Cornwall.
North Wales will head into the match in seventh position after their recent good form.
North Wales have won their last six meetings with London Skolars.
The other fixture on Saturday will see Oldham host Hunslet.
The Roughyeds are unbeaten in their last four matches with three wins and a draw against league leaders, Dewsbury Rams. Oldham are third in the table with just one defeat which came against Doncaster.
Greg McNally could make his 300th career appearance. McNally has made 18 appearances for the Roughyeds.
Hunslet are another side who have been playing well with four wins in a row before this contest.
The West Yorkshire side are one place and one point behind Oldham with six wins and two defeats from their eight matches.
The two sides drew one of the meetings last season in League One. The 22-22 draw took place in Round Two, before Oldham defeated Hunslet later in the season 30-18.
On Sunday, Midlands Hurricanes will welcome Doncaster to the Alexander Stadium.
Earlier in the week, the Hurricanes announced that Mark Dunning will take charge of the side. Dunning was Bradford Bulls’ head coach earlier in the season.
Midlands have won two matches in League One this season, these wins have come against Cornwall and London Skolars. Both of these victories came at the Alexander Stadium.
With seven wins from eight matches, Doncaster occupy second place in Betfred League One. Richard Horne’s side suffered their only defeat to Dewsbury Rams.
The Dons have won all ten previous meetings, which included 48-20 and 52-18 victories in 2022.
Jason Tali has scored a brace of his last three meetings with Midlands.
Experienced back, Misi Taulapapa is just one appearance away from 350 in his career.
The final match of the weekend will see Cornwall and Workington Town meet for the very first time.
Workington Town have had a mixed record since their relegation from the Championship. After winning four of their opening five matches, Town have suffered defeat in their three most recent fixtures.
Cornwall will be looking for their second ever away success when they make the long journey north to Cumbria. Cornwall defeated West Wales in 2022 and this season are yet to win away, however, they did defeat London Skolars at the Memorial Ground.
