TagFest London returns to Richmond Athletics Ground this Saturday (June 10) for another installment of the hugely popular Tag Rugby League tournament.
Hosted by RFL partner Try Tag Rugby (TTR), TagFest attracts hundreds of players and spectators from around the country, bringing together teams from each of the nation’s TTR regions.
TagFest London 2022 was the largest single-venue Tag tournament ever held in the northern hemisphere, and Saturday looks set to be another jam-packed event, including live Rugby League action in the evening between two of the Southern Conference League’s premier clubs – West Warriors and London Chargers.
The first games of the day will kick-off at 10:30am and will culminate with the Division One final with the winners’ presentations set to take place shortly after. All teams will play through the pool stages to determine whether they make it into the Cup, Plate, Bowl or Shield competition for their division.
There will also be plenty of entertainment off the pitch with players and spectators encouraged to enjoy a full evening of entertainment with DJ’s, live bands and food and drink vendors arranged until late.
Try Tag Rugby co-founder, Alistair Davis, says “TagFest London 2023 is shaping up as a fantastic event with over 90 mixed Tag Rugby teams descending on London from all around the UK. We've got more off field entertainment than ever planned, including some top class Rugby League when West Warriors & London Chargers go head to head in the evening. We'd welcome Rugby League fans to come down and check out the action both on and off the field.”
TagFest London 2023 is a fully ticketed event, tickets can be purchased in advance here for just £10 or £12.50 on the gate.
