Women’s Rugby League double confirmed by The Sportsman

Women’s Rugby League double confirmed by The Sportsman

The Betfred Women’s Super League returns this weekend with fixtures including the first derby of the season between St Helens and Wigan Warriors – and The Sportsman will be at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday June 11 to cover all the action live, exclusive and free of charge on their dedicated Rugby League YouTube channel.

It will be the first of two big games on consecutive weekends for The Sportsman, who have also confirmed coverage of the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Quarter Final between Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants from Robin Park on Sunday June 18.

That game kicks off at 1130am, forming the first part of a Betfred Challenge Cup double header in Wigan as it will be followed at 230pm by Matt Peet’s Warriors taking on Warrington Wolves in the Men’s Quarter Final across at the DW Stadium – with that match to be shown live on BBC One.

There will be another double header that day in York, with the Knights’ home Quarter Final against Leigh Leopards kicking off at 5pm live on Viaplay – and being preceded by York Valkyrie’s intriguing Quarter Final in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup against Cardiff Demons.

Details have also been confirmed for the other two Quarter Finals, with Leeds Rhinos hosting Leigh Leopards at Headingley on Saturday June 17 (1pm kick-off), and the holders St Helens facing Warrington Wolves at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday June 18 (1230pm kick-off).
