Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Final Preview: Leeds Rhinos vs St Helens

St Helens and Leeds Rhinos will battle it out to be crowned Betfred Women's Challenge Cup winners for 2022 in a 12pm kick off tomorrow at Elland Road, part of a Triple-Header with the Men's Cup Semi-Finals.

The tie sees two previous winners of the competition going head-to-head as Leeds, winners in both 2018 and 2019, tackle the current cup holders in St Helens - it was their first Cup win in 2021.

This year, Saints have been in incredible form as they have dominated their title defence so far, winning each of their group stage games before wins over Huddersfield Giants and Featherstone Rovers to reach this stage.

The star-studded team have racked up the points but also impressively are yet to concede a single point so far this season, something Leeds are looking to change on Saturday.

Leeds have also thrived in 2022 after the return from injury of several important players, alongside the eye-catching arrival of former Woman of Steel Georgia Roche.

The Rhinos also won all of their group matches before wins over Warrington Wolves and then York City Knights to secure their place at Elland Road.

I don't think there are any female rugby players that can say they've played at Elland Road, in their hometown, it's really exiting to be playing in a stadium of this stature.
