There were just a few games in the National Conference League at the weekend.
Despite this, there was still room for a surprise as Thornhill Trojans defeated Wath Brow Hornets in the only Premier Division encounter. Relegation-threatened Thornhill accounted for their play-off chasing rivals 23-20 following a pulsating game.
Kells returned to the top of the Division One table courtesy of point difference and a hard-fought 26-22 win on the road at Featherstone Lions.
Meanwhile, Wigan St Pats remain on course for a play-off position after downing Skirlaugh 34-12. Skirlaugh led 12-10 at the interval but a powerful second half from Pats secured victory.
Dewsbury Celtic took Crosfields all the way before the Warrington side ultimately claimed the win.The visitors led 18-12 at half-time before eventually succumbing to a 28-25 defeat.
It was Cumbrian derby time in Division Three as Seaton Rangers hosted Hensingham. This was a game that hung in the balance until the final ten minutes when the hosts ran in three late tries to secure a 36-16 result.
